And neither did the idea of having an off-site staging area with boats, helicopters and supplies. No. Liberals are obviously such wonderful beings that basic civic responsibility is something they never think about. They do, however, love the perks of high office. And they certainly love to mewl and piss about how everyone else has let them down.
That's what I've been talking about for a couple of days. Why didn't they set up a tent city or some sort of temporary staging area about an hour outside of NO? They could have used these buses to move the people to this site & then dealt with them.
It's because few liberals have any common sense, and do not understand economics, accounting, planning, distribution logistics. And... have never run a business; because they're too stooopid.
That would have meant committing local funds to pay the drivers, even paying drivers to move all those school buses to higher ground. The local leaders instead acted in ways that would guarantee that the Feds would pick up the tab, even if it meant delays.
They never have any usable ideas on any issue, the only thing they can do is obstruct and blame.
Not one Democrat down there can make a decision?
It seems that almost everyone here thought of those buses, school buses, Greyhounds and any other sort of drivable equipment SHOULD have been used. But that would require thinking and it is impossible for a Democrat to do that.
