Many of us here own guns; some own a substantial number. The idea of letting one of these individuals from the Superdome into my house with my guns is very disturbing unless that individual is totally vetted. From personal experience, I know it's very easy to say "yes" out of misplaced sympathy and to end up profoundly wishing that one had said "no." No can be very hard to say, but saying it can save your life or family, especially in a situation like this.
