I lost power for 2 days as well. We did get quite a bit of wind, and more damage than I thought for a Cat 1 storm. Part of the problem with South Florida is that because of Andrew, we regard anything under a Cat4 as wimpy. Katrina taught us a lesson, and now, twice..
Haha, after last year (my first year in hurricane country) just losing power for a couple of days seems like no big deal! I WAS glad I bought a small battery operated fan tho! Seems like there are more S. FL Freepers than I thought!
