I don't think it'll be the decline. I think it's just another one of many things Bush "screwed up."

I guess because it's his city that got destroyed, it wouldn't be PC to call out the fact that if Nagin's administration wasn't so corrupt, he might have put more money into disaster preparation and less in his pockets.

New Orleans has been so corrupt for decades, and the latest mayor is just one more in a long line of incompetent low-lifes they've elected. He and their governor are not in any way prepared to handle a situation like this. We won't hear that from the media, or the residents...who are very eager to blame Bush. They certainly didn't vote for him.
