LOL---not only are they not off today...but Harkin was on the floor late last night COMPLAINING that the House doesn't work on Friday...going on and on about how "poor" people have to work on Friday...
so, if it is good enough for "poor" people, it is good enough for the House...
BUT, isn't this about the first Friday that the Senate has been in and taken votes this year????
Talk about John Edward's "two Americas"...when you have Harkin splitting the country by rich/poor as to whether one works on Friday or not....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
LOLOL what a loser!!!
BTW...I heard Sen. Frist telling the Senate this last week sometime, that because there is so much to do this year, with the SCOTUS vacancies, and Katrina and Rita.....that the Senators could "look forward" to working and actually VOTING on Fridays for a while....
Whoever feels sorry for them raise your hand!!!
Is Dorgan worried about spending on Gov't credit cards?
Yes-----Dorgan worries a lot.
Baby fat Landreiu up now....
Landrieu..."maybe I talk too much..."

The award for OVERACTING goes to....
Blanche Lincoln.....gag me!
How much of the defense bill do you think will be discussed?? LOL
Especially since there won't be any votes due to the Jewish Holiday...
DURBIN: " The reserve would require the Department of Energy to hold and manage 40 million barrels of unleaded gasoline and 7.5 million barrels of jet fuel to be used in times of supply shortages--shortages that adversely impact the U.S. economy."
Why, So we can make 40 Million barrels of turpentine?
You can only store gas for about a year before it goes bad..
I can't wait to hear the glowing comments from Harry Reid since it's reported that he recommended Miers for the bench .. LOL!!
I think Frist's speech headed a lof of them off at the pass!!! LOL
BTW, don't you guy know that the happiest person in Washington today is Tom Delay!!!
