" Levees and Sacramento"
Isn't there a river that runs near Sacramento? I don't think it's the Colorado... Erosion occurs everywhere in CA...and don't forget, it's in the "ring of fire".
Still, it's not likely Sacramento will be hit by a hurricane.

earthquakes and torrential gully washers could take levees out, just a matter of time, unfortunately.
