I never watch CNN either...but felt like I WAS watching CNN when I watched FOX and saw Bill Hemmer and some Gretchen babe. Gretchen was talking to a commander of the Louisiana National Guard and asked if they were "capable" of handling the law and order issues. THe commander said that they handle going to Iraq, so he was sure they could. She answered some smart remark like, "well, yes, but the people trained for this kind of mission are all in Iraq"
I don't expect her to be a conservative...but since she is a REPORTER, she should not be sounding like a Democratic operative....especially on FOX
I never watch Greta, either.
Gretchen Carlson came from the CBS Morning Show, so thinking she is not conservative is a step in the right direction.
re: Wolf Blitzer...he and the Madman Jack Cafferty were complaining because the people stranded in New Orleans are black and the media is not focusing on that. Wolf, the genius that he is mused: "All so poor, and so black." Had a "conservative" reporter said that, he would have lost his job.
I urge all to take a look at Fox's ratings vs. CNN's during the coverage of Katrina. CNN has plummeted, and with good reason. The O'Brien twins (Miles and Soledaddy), Wolf, Ed (gimme a donut) Lavendera and others are shameful in their observations. Miles O'Brien chose to pick a fight with Haley Barbour this morning. Not the most brilliant of decisions for Miles. Watch CNN, folks - if for nothing else, for the laughs you'll get during this awful time.
Hah! Wolf Blitzers "internet" reporterette specifically pulled up the most virulent anti-bush blogs to blame the president...on "what" the general feeling on this was.
