I don't know if you saw the clip yesterday of Shep Smith asking a police office on the I-10 overpass where those people could go to get help or who was coming to tell them where to get help. The guy who appeared to be taking videos with his own camera wouldn't even answer, he just walked away from Shep. I was amazed by that. I always thought the police were there to help.

I realize now that we all need to have our own emergency preparations on hand because if there is a big emergency we are on our own!!!

I saw that video. He walked away and he should have because it was an idiotic and stupid question by the press. Shep looked like an utter fool.
