The governor is a waste of space. That's a freaking lie. The only thing I've heard that is accurate is that many in New Orleans could not leave. They had no means, time was short and the governor and mayor had no plan.
Have you seen the cars all over the city? Did you see the jammed parking lot at Walmart when they were looting? Many couldn't leave because they were waiting for an opportunity to loot.
