On Fox, the reporter (I can't remember his name), kept egging on some people at the Astrodome, trying to get them to criticise the rescue efforts. I must say, this couple was inspiring (if not shell shocked). The man, speaking of his fellow New Orleanians, said that now we need real men to stand up, and that he was ashamed of his people. I really felt for him.
I do think there is some media exaggeration going on. The press is at places saying "no one can get here". Well how did THEY get there? And how are THEY able to leave?
That's the kind of people you would want to "stay" at your home!
He sounded like a very decent MAN, with a sweet family!
My heart breaks for them, and others!
