Yeah, that's been angering me. Too many are seeing some black people loot and deciding that all of them are the same. Hell, we have some on here blaming ALL black people for a few's actions. There are always some who cause problems.
These people are not refugees as if from some undeveloped nation. These are Americans, our family, our friends, our neighbors and they need our help.
I have been following this closely and don't recall anyone saying anything of the kind.
You are very right. You see so many black faces cause New Orleans is predominantly black, good, bad and inbetween, and a lot of'em have been my friends. Dang, a lot of them come from families that have been middle class and literate longer than part of my scotch Irish family.
Most of those people being shipped out to TX are just folks. Mostly good, some indifferent, a few bad, who have just been through one of the most horrendous experiences you can have. They need our support, not our pigeonholing them as the bad guys cause bad guys mixed in with them and preyed upon them to make their hellish experience that much worse.
