All the schools should be shut down and all the buses in the country sent in to remove the affected. All communties in America should welcome all refugees. After all we are the greatest country in the world. I will for one be in New Orleans, asap with my pickup to help someone join my community. I challenge all Freepers to do the same. President Bush, I challenge you to do whatever is necessary. Forget education, lets take care of our own. 3 weeks can be regained during scheduled vacations. Everyone speak out! Let's git 'er done! 'Cuz we can! We are the voice!
I posted earlier that public schools in Rapides Parish are closed tomorrow because the buses are being dispatched to New Orleans. They will take the refugees to Houston. The newscasters keep saying that the Governor "commandeered" the buses and their drivers. Since there is concern for the drivers' safety, they will be accompanied by members of the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office.
I'll be challenging my congregation to take in a family or two. I personally am offering a room with bath to any Freeper or Freeper couple, if anyone knows how to get that message out.
