We haven't seen the mayor comfort one single individual. I know it's more dangerous in NO, but he's used an inappropriate amount of air time to swear and blame people instead of sitting in a command center with the people who will actually get things done and come up with a plan.

I'm not going to comment more on it because of operational security (which if the call was real is of VERY high importance) - but let's just say that the person has a lot more to lose than some.
I could never understand how a man could lay down his life to protect his leader until President Bush 43 took control after 9/11. It was confirmed once again watching him comfort those two women. That young lady had her arm around the Prez with total ease. We are fortunate.
You can tell just by looking in the Presidents eyes that he is 100% genuine in his concern.. good man for sure.

I hope you are right. They have been "staging" at the dome for extraction for days. Get that many refugees together and things go wrong.
Whatever happens, that airport is a vital link. Clog it up and things go south fast.
Sitting here in Utah with the same heartbreak. You don't know how I want to head south to do something. But not yet.
