Yeah, many are uncomfortable, but they are far, far away from eating eachother to stay alive.

The main concern is dehydration. I saw the report from the convention center--the guy said in a disgusted voice that they're breaking into stores to get "chips and candy." So those people are getting some liquids, probably.

It seems to me, though, that it's only those strong enough to go out and loot that are subsisting. I did see one elderly lady's body in a wheelchair at the CC. Some in there willl die of dehydration as time passes, especially considering the heat.

I think the water level is still where it was, impassable in places, so the people who are stranded on rooftops or other isolated places who can't wade through the water who will perish very soon if they get nothing to drink.

It's unreal how slow any relief is . it's not lik ethis happened in some far off land days away . What the hell are they doing to help these people? Yes, I understand it's terrible circunstances but NO is only hours away by plane from anywhere in the US. They cant do massive food drops , medical supplies? They cant get these people out after 4 days ..Come on !!!
