Why, they were designated to the Alamo Dome! I'm not saying separate the children from their mom or their only surviving parent! OF COURSE NOT! The rest of the family members could easily hook up at the Alamo dome's register table! Children are a great concern in those type of temperatures, it breaks my heart to think WHAT if it were me and my children in that situation? I would do ANYTHING for their survival's sake!

I just found out they are putting overflow from Houston in the San Antonio Kelly field barracks (and maybe base housing). That base was shut down recently ago by military base closings. Continental Airlines is running a shuttle between New Orleans and Kelly field direct.
