This reminds me of what's happening in Iraq. 95% of the group is civil. 5% have no regard for peace or human life. Maybe this has more to do with human nature than religion?

One of the TV channels last night followed a couple of policewomen who had apparently joined in the looting. When confronted, it was obvious that she was just part of those stealing.

If the inclination for the NO police is to join in, I can see why there are problems. This is probably why some of the first shots were toward police stations - to spook the cops into compliance.
