I'm usually, on normal days, annoyed by Shep Smith; BUT, he has been trying for days to get some attention to the plight of those people on I-10... I don't see why food and supplies can't be airdropped down to all those people all over N.O. who are stranded. just drop the food, etc. down to them to keep them alive till they get moved out of there. I don't think that would be so hard to do.

I'm a little fed up with this too. When they built the new stadium for the Oilers (oops, I mean Texans), they substantially reduced the amount of parking available.

When there is a rodeo or game at the new stadium, somehow they manage to bus over 60,000 people out of the stadium area in under 3 hours.

Yet, we are led to believe that they can't get 20,000 people out of the SuperDome after 4 days.

Something is seriously wrong. Bush needs to put some grown-ups in charge. I would suggest a USMC colonel.

You are right... something seems terribly amiss.
