In the first place, you don't know where the money raised will be going. There are plenty of needs in Mississippi and Alabama, and in parts of Louisiana not affected by the thugs, and plenty of places for the money to go even before the violence is controlled.

Saying that money should not be raised until the violence is quelled is ludicrous.

In the second place, the issues of violence are being addressed by the President and the Pentagon and local police, and may well be under control before the ex-Presidents even get on the road.

Disagreement with xlinton's politics and disgust with his slimy character are irrelevant to the fact that he is able to raise money, and money is NEEDED BY THESE PEOPLE, MOST OF WHOM ARE CAUSING NO TROUBLE.
