Ed Begley, Jr. and Martin Sheehan are the only Hollywood activists I respect. I don't agree with them, of course, but they do walk their talk. And I respect that.

My father-in-law (a Marine who died many years ago) grew up right around Martin Sheen (real last name is Estevez) in Dayton, OH and had the pleasure of kicking his liberal ass when both were around 20 years old. I guess the liberal Sheen opened his mouth one too many times to a patriot who was not a debater.
When folks in my wife's family first told me this story, they acted a little embarrassed. However, I told them that any man who beat up that scumbag Sheen was a hero in my book.
