So, uh, WHY isn't this complaining New Orleans resident GETTING THE BODIES OUT OF THE HOUSE HIMSELF?
HE could get them out, cover them, and arrange them HIMSELF in the front yard TO HELP THE RESCUE WORKERS DO THEIR JOB!
But Noooooooooooooooooooooo.
HE wants the government to come do everything FOR HIM. While HE sits on his butt complaining about the lack of rapid aid.
(By the way, did he vote for a (democrat) social-security-welfare-state last time arouind?)

Oh you can bet Jesse Jackson and Sharpton and the other poverty pimps smell the Mother of all Federal grants coming which they can control and siphon off to their cronies.
They are planning furiously right now how to control all of the money that will be for 'the poor'.

Remember that Bush had to call her on Sunday to get her moving, and voila . . . she did nothing. She is the most pitiful excuse of a governor we've ever seen in this country. She has the audacity to issue yet today one statement: New Orleans needs to be evacuated. Well, duh, Kathleen. You're an idiot.
Here's my take on the mayor: if you know full well that at least 20% of your city's population is without personal transportation, how in hell do you expect them to EVACUATE?
The fact that he didn't line up the city's buses on Saturday and Sunday to transport the urban residents is unconscienable. Blame both governor and mayor for TOTAL INCOMPETENCE!!!!!!!!

Today while watching CNN, I saw a guy who was sitting on the lawn in front of his house in New Orleans, complaining that his two neighbors' corpses were in the apartment next to him, nobody had come to get the bodies, and FEMA hadn't brought him any food yet. This is the problem with a great many of the people who stayed-- they've never had to do anything, they've just watied for the next handout or program or someone else to do for them. When you're waiting for the bureaucracy to get around to you, you're wasting your life.

Yup.
What we are seeing is the end result of forty years of the "Great Society" come home to roost.
An entire population unable and unwilling to help themselves let alone help others.
Sickening.

He's a LIBERAL, whattya expect? They like that cradle-to-grave government intervention. It keeps them from having to THINK!
