Me, too. Though I credited Gingrich more than Barbour.

Of course, after the spending sprees of recent years, very few Republicans should be taken seriously when using words like 'limited government' and 'balanced budget'. Oh, yeah, I forgot. They stopped talking about how important those were several years back when they grabbed the federal wallet and started to spend.

NO is going to be the turning point they have been waiting for to turn the clock back to LBJ style Great Society ism. IF the Feds are to be responsible for everything, then they should PAY for everything (As if we don't now). They have watched their power erode for 25 years and it really is last ditch time for them.
