Gov Haley Barbour asked the President NOT to come to MS for a few days. The security needed for a Presidential visit drains the city of needed manpower. A Presidential visit now is a photo op that will be putting the President in harms way, having the President and his team in the way and taking needed manpower off needed functions.

I would say the same thing if the President were a democrat.

Thank you for pointing that out. I really cannot comprehend why anyone is more concerned with PR spin then doing what is necessary to maximize recovery and relief.
