Louisiana's Gov. Kathleen Blanco was shakier, but she can recover. She wore her heart on her face, not always helpful in a leader in crisis. In her early news conferences she looked concussed. Her presentation seemed scattered. This is apparent on every TV appearance she makes. She is not cut out for this job. Her state needs a leader, and she's not nearly up to the job.

Bingo, Blanco is the problem. Those looters and anarchists hiding out in NO did not come out of a vacuum. They were there all the time and with the legendary corruption throughout La. nothing that happens there surprises me. What you are witnessing in NO are simply problems that were glossed over and never solved.

Well said, she has been and will continue to be a failure of a governor. She courted Fidel Castro when GW said sanction's should stay, and he insisted they should be increased, but Block-O still traveled to Cuba to dine with the dictator. Socialists have a tendency to gravitate towards each other. She's a disgrace of a person..she will continue to fail..and people will continue to die b/c of her failures. Mary Landreau is of the same cut...worthless meat. They cry b/c their voter base is lost, that's all.
Then there's Sister senators brother, Mitch Landreau, the Lt.Gov. He put his office renovation 1st ahead of all other emergency spending, to the tune of 1 million dollars.
Corrupt, criminal and absolute failures of leaders b/c of the voting block that's now lost in NO.
ESAD to the LA DNC!
