I am not impressed with any of the local government heads from Alabama to Louisiana at the state or city level. They have not instilled the level of confidence in having a plan and the ability to execute it that Rudi did. Rudi is too liberal for me in several areas, but at least he had a plan and the ability to convey it to the people. Granted, the MSM is the source for 90% of what we get, but what I am seeing is a breakdown in local government to include the LEO.

In all fairness, great as Rudy was, 9/11 was a minor event compared to the total devastation in the Gulf coast. I say dont shoot the piano player, He is doing the best he can. We have much more to deal with than "what subway train has been diverted". It is also tragic that we must waste police time to deal with looters. I say shoot the bastards and get on with important things.

Most of their constituents have no way of hearing any of their plans anyway. And that's just as well considering the governor and mayor in LA.

The pictures of a hundred flooded and ruined school buses is emblematic of the lack of planning.
