The first couple of days after 911 people on TV were saying there coudl be as many as 10-20K killed.
Some here on FR insisted it was 20,000 dead.
If there were 40,000 dead, Sheppard Smith would have been chasing bodies in the water all day long. Instead he was not able to find one, though they tried to make it sound like they were just out of view.
I am not saying there was not a tragic loss of life. I just don't think it is going to reach "biblical proportions".
Many trapped in houses, I would think.
