I still say his story is remarkably like an English movie I saw a few months ago. Except the movie was about a real violin virtuoso -- lone survivor of a ship wreck on the English coast.

I wish I could remember the name. It starred Judi Dench and Maggie Smith as the 2 sisters who found the castaway.
