Dunno - but I was just thinkin- how is the media eating and sleeping? Planning to get out? Are they stuck? Just curious. They have to be getting help - so how is the help getting in? Coolers full of food, water and fresh changes of clothes allowed with a press badge?
Shepard Smith and Phil Keating of FOX News seems to be parking on I-10 by day and driving to other parts of Louisiana when the sun goes down. I think they slept in Thibodaux last night. Steve Harrigan stayed at a producer's wife's friend's apartment in Baton Rouge last night, according to his
blog. He might go back there today.
CNN left only a skeleton crew in the city. I think they're staying in the French Quarter, but I'm not sure.
Some of the media have hired armed guards to accompany them while reporting, according to another FR thread.
