I'm at my house in Ridgeland because I'm almost out of gas. I waited 3 hours at the Madison Texaco yesterday morning and they ran out before I got to the pumps. Then I waited about 2 hours yesterday afternoon at the Chevron on Highway 51 at Ridgeland Avenue, and they ran out of gas. I made it back to my house, and I've got to stay here until gas is readily available because I don't have enough to wait in line. I have very little food and am beginning to be a bit worried. I haven't heard anything about FEMA seizing all gas supplies.
You are in my prayers.
A guy broke line in Gluckstadt last night and pulled a gun on the people that challenged him. Toby's boys busted his head I understand.
I'm at Mosby's in Canton right now. Truck is on empty. I'm going to siphon 10 gallons out of my Mom and Dad's cars to get home then I'm going to sit for the weekend. I've got to work at Baptist on Monday and may just stay in my office a few nights.
Do you have power? If not a fellow Freeper is always welcome to cool off and take a hot shower. I have freezer space if you need it also.
