Hmm. The NO police hated having to go the projects in the best of times since they were shot at. Now with these people emboldened, they REALLY don't want to go the projects.
The woman reporting from the EOC in Baton Rouge seemed to say that there were lots of NG and others ready to go in but the area wasn't safe. Same with FEMA they say they can't go in because it's not safe.
Well, excuse me, but how is it going to get safe unless the NG goes in.
We may be seeing a political play by the local LA government to get the military in first because thugs are going to need to be taken out and the LA government doesn't want to be "blamed" for that.
