I suspect you're right. The main blame lies of course, on Mother Nature, but also on the imcompetency of the LA government. The mayor is a moron. The governor, from what I have heard from her mouth, is a moron.

The LA officials waited far to long to get the Feds involved....they were in way over their heads from the first hours of this crisis and refused to publicly admit it....

The NG should have been mobilized and ready before Katrina hit....36-48 hours were lost due to this incompetence....

The Feds are playing catch-up right now.....a lot of people will have died because of this blunder when all is said and done...IMHO
