Kids are actually pretty resilient. I have worked with kids in a homeless shelter, and I am always amazed and inspired by their strength and zest for life regardless of their present circumstances. It's the old people I feel the worst for. I fear many suicides, depression, alcoholism, etc. among these unfortunate people.
And the pictures posted keep reminding me that, for little kids, where your mother is, that's where home is.
