The Mayor is saying that the situation is "not out of control" and that the courthouse is being closed because of "congestion" and its proximity to the place where the refugees are being housed (it is literally right next door).
Take that for what you will.
I am at a meeting in a building in downtown Baton Rouge six or eight blocks from the RiverCenter where the "refugees" are being housed.
The building management just announced that, at the request of the State Police, the building is being locked down due to rioting and looting downtown.
Hopefully, the building's management is overacting.
