"Since they don't have electricity within several hundred miles of Shep's satellite van, do you really think anyone roaming the streets of New Orleans would have heard the answer?"

No see Shep's words to the State police lady was "Give me the info and I will pass it along to these folks right here around me." The Cop told those folks around there nothing he just clamed up and left.

This is not about broadcasting the info this was about telling all those people within shouting distance of the road Shep was on. THose same folks that were saying on Camera "tell us where to go we will go there!"

I saw that. It reminded me of a bunch of folks standing next to the entrance of Disneyland demanding that somebody tell them where the entrance to Disneyland was. You can watch video from his show on the Foxnews website. I don't know why the officer he talked to wouldn't talk to him. The guy ought to be fired for being an idiot. But again, all Shep had to do was lift his eyes from his microphone to figure out where people needed to go. I'll assume he's not really an idiot. How could he have missed the fact that his fellow Foxnews reporters were describing exactly where people were receiving help. He was less than a mile from the Superdome, and standing on the Interstate that leads right to its front door. Do you suppose he was really clueless about where to direct people, or just interested in creating a Geraldo like moment.
