Liberals drop public Sheehan role
By Bill Sammon THE WASHINGTON TIMES August 31, 2005
Powerful liberal advocacy groups such as MoveOn.org are taking a less active role in Cindy Sheehan's anti-war activities in the wake of criticism that they may have muddied her message. The groups, which played a major role in Mrs. Sheehan's monthlong vigil outside President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, are scaling back their involvement as Mrs. Sheehan prepares to leave Texas today on a bus tour to Washington.

Even Susan Estrich has said that Cindy Sheehan isn't the smartest choice as the face of the antiwar movement.

That's just too bad for them - Sheehan and MoveOn are already married to the Democrat Party.
I have watched.
I have recorded.
I will teach.
And there's nothing they can do about it.

It means their internal polls shows that the Ditch B*tch was doing more harm then good to their cause.

Let's get it straight: Her "message" was already muddied. They just muddied it further.
The reason they want to get away from her is that even Move On realizes the Left's chief spokesperson has turned out to be a delusional, bigoted airhead.

The libs must have read the polls and taken them to heart. Cindy Sheehan is an unbalanced opportunist who craves attention the more she gets it. She managed to completely offend a very liberal relative of mine with her insane rantings.....not an easy task.

Her tour should be a hoot.
Maybe she should join the Stones.
To: randog
"Sorry, poop's outta the horse."LOL. And ain't that the case. They've invested so much, for so little. The best part: she has a huge following that will give $$ and stroke her ego. Like Dean, she will continue to feed them red meat. The only difference will be less press coverage as the presstitutes realize their mistake....

On Hume's show a few minutes ago, she was quoted as blaming Bush for the hurricane....some babbling about 'his killing policies and (of course)global warming'.
