And city-dwellers are particularly amazed by the Americans' arrogant attitude -

I hope this guy someday understands that Hollywood ain't America.

It is one of America's greatest achievements though.

"And city-dwellers are particularly amazed by the Americans' arrogant attitude"

I sat next to him a few years ago in a little cafe in northern New Mexico where we used to ride for lunch (it's also a very trendy little spot w/the "local" Hollywood idiots who moved in and jacked the property taxes through the roof).

He kept looking around with this expectant look on his face, as if he was trying to get someone to notice him and bubble over. Everyone ignored him. He seemed so disappointed that no-one made a fuss over him.

When we were getting on my motorcycle to leave, I told the lady who was with me that we had just been siting next to Steven Spielberg. She asked "Who's that"?

I told her he made ET, Saving Private Ryan, and some other movies.

To which she replied "So"?

I certainly couldn't disagree with that. I remember thinking "What a poor little man, all of that money and yet he's starved for attention from complete strangers who don't even know who he is, and couldn't care less".

You know, people from the real world.
