This looting should have been nipped in the bud before it escalated into this. I assume the police (if they weren't participating) were fearful of mass riots if they started to crack down. Well, they showed restraint and what do we get--armed marauders playing Mad Max meets WaterWorld on the streets of New Orleans. F the delicate sensibilities of our media. Time to install order with an iron fist.
I can imagine the moral of the PD officers...if they all lost their houses....I will try to find out where they have been staying...maybe the hotels.
