I'm reminded by one of his lines on the stump, which would lose its effectiveness if said by someone who didn't embody it: "There are times in the life of a nation, where little is expected of its' leaders. This is not one of those times."

I didn't see the presser (cubicle bound), but I'll take your word for it, 'cause I've seen the man in action. "For such a time as this", indeed.
