I thought things sounded bad yesterday morning but it seems we're only beginning to know how bad things really are. My heart breaks for the survivors and everyone trying to help them. Prayers being sent for them all.

I have just been reading some threads that are saying thousands have died.

Another where looters are trying to take over Childrens Hospital.

This is unbeleiveable. They did say that thousands could die, seems like they may have been right.
Mississippi seems to have gotten the worst of it, trucks picking up 30 dead at a time, I want to cry..

I was at that thread in the "wee hours" Hushpuppie. Our worst fears beginning to unfold, it seems. I have a very dear friend(I was engaged to him, but broke it, a few years ago) in Mississippi at the coast. He just bought a new home last year & became a Realtor & LOVES the area. No word from him, I emailed him the day before the hurricane hit, wishing him prayers and luck. No response. I hope he evacuated.
