You must not be a reporter...you're falling for this hook line and sinker.

What you are saying producers and reporters on your station wouldn't let get on the air you are out there trumpeting like it's the Gospel.

No evidence...one fantastic post with no proof to back it up...nothing from the MSM.

Give me a break.

nothing from the MSM.

Shows EXACTLY where your head is at. The MSM ain't gods, sir. They haven't likely sent well-coiffed Chatty Kathy off to Podunk, Mississippi, pop. 2500, to see how things are going there. It's in those places -- some of which, believe it or not, have absolutely no media outlets -- where the devastation could be unbelievable.

I am skeptical as well but I don't think we can resolve this tonight. I don't see any way that we can prove or disprove the assertions. Mainly because I think your faith in the MSM is unfounded. The MSM failed to report the mass flooding in New Orleans early on saying that New Orleans dodged a bullet. We now know that was outright wrong. The MSM had failed to perform adequate reconnaissance. They pretty much did not leave the French Quarter or the Super Dome.

Additionally, the MSM is not very good at giving rapid causality reports. The best example I can think of is the Great Earthquake and Tsunami of 2004 where the MSM thought that there was less than 10,000 causalities for almost two days. The main reason was because the media couldn't get into the devastated areas. Some areas were so devastated that there were few humans left able to say how many people were killed. I think we can say that this hurricane has left areas completely disconnected for the rest of the nation. It may take days to reconnect.

Finally, it is very difficult to use past hurricane damages to compare to what this monster storm destroyed. I saw a photo today where a block full of houses looked like they were swept by a giant broom. I'm not kidding, the only thing remaining of where the houses used to be was the foundations. Around the foundations it was perfectly clean. No debris at all. A little to the north: sawdust (the remain of the houses). How can we say how deadly this is?

Look I obviously see you have an axe to grind here. I would not come on in the middle of a national tragedy and create some ficticious phone call. We waited for well over 24-hours for this phone call to come in. When it did...I literally typed out what he was telling me so I would not forget anything.

These were his words and what he saw. I have known this man for nearly 15 years and we speak on a daily basis.

His word is gold and what he told me was going on in the parts of Mississippi is what I posted right here on FR. If you think for a second that I would come on here and just start throwing numbers and scenarios around for the hell of it....then you need to look deeper into your soul and realize that not everybody is out to give a dramatic histrionic filled story.

I 100% stand by the phone call and what was said. He went down there and put his own life and continues to do so at risk from Georgia.

Nuff said.
