G*d be with us and give us courage. We are in a different place again...as we were after 9/11. Yea though we walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, WE WILL FEAR NO EVIL FOR THOU ART WITH US, Thy rod and Thy staff prepare us a way! We have a dreadful job of recovery and clean-up ahead, much as the people in Southeast Asia have had since Christmas just past. Our first priority then must be to save those we can save in this next week, while there's still time. There's another storm front moving in. It WON'T ever be the same again. It'll be different. But we will go on. As one lady in New Orleans standing in her green silk suit and with nothing left said: "We will ENDURE! Americans and people in this part of the world are good at that--ENDURING!" And your friends, and there are many, will stand beside you to help you. DO NOT BE AFRAID. WE ARE WITH YOU! SAVE THE LIVING! GOD BE WITH AND BLESS AMERICA IN HER HOUR OF NEED AND COMFORT US ALL AS WE CONFRONT THESE TERRIBLE SIGHTS AND SAVE THOSE WE CAN. BE WITH US AND HELP US COMFORT ONE ANOTHER. AMEN! F.D. in Canada
