Good mercy, just watching what's going on in NO right now.....I'd believe anything!
This is just surreal!....Beyond surreal!
All I know is that the very first FR thread announcing the evacuation asserted that the mayor was busy consulting with lawyers when Bush called. Apparently the local officials were not sure they had the legal authority.
What is a woman wearing a miniskirt advertising?
What does she expect the response of some crazed men to be?
Is she really wearing a miniskirt so people will notice her personality and job/social skills and IQ?
Give me a break toots.
You are a loon.
Callers in Dothan, Al are able to get through to Biloxi, MS via Southern Linc around 5:00 a.m. At other times when traffic is apparently higher, they are getting a fast busy signal.
agreed....it happens all the time. someone stumbles upon a group of people who were dumb enough to stay on the coast...does some quick math on how many buildings are on the coast and assumes thousands....in reality...only a very few actually stay on the coast with this much warning.
I believe that's how it's been advertised. The medic apparently believes that there are thousands dead, I hope he is wrong but there is nothing to refute him at this point. The only official information the death toll is officials are reluctant to release it, and in NO they are not even bothering with the dead.
I will also point out that we may never know the exact death toll because dozens if not hundreds were just washed out to sea.
:)
We can't get freakin' approval for freakin' refineries on terra firma, fercryingoutloud!
The Bugs and Bunny Crowd has the country by the unmentionables, and their "rent seeking" continues, if anything..
An AF security team stayed at Homstead AFB during Hurricane Andrew...they survived. And the wind gage in the Tower was stuck at 200mph.
How many of the thousands of bodies could you sea from the air when 911 happened? The tsunami?
Something proportionate to the numbers who did not leave New Orleans. The advantage was that for the people in Mississippi, that safety lay just a few miles inland.
We live in a fenceless zoo.
The rude have been always with us, and FR is no exception.
Just identify those who must always be "right" or have the "final" word and avoid them like the plague.
Eventually they move on to more satisfying sites.
At some point you people have crossed the line from mere stupidity to deliberate deception.
To quote a great humanitarian, "Let's all take a deep breath".
Eventually all will be known.
You seemed to be hostile toward me because you felt I was perhaps uncharitable in your view of reality.
That seems rather inconsistent, to me.
BTW, I think it's far more charitable to tell someone racing peddle to the metal for hell that they are going the wrong direction.
You can cheer them on their way if you wish.
"you people"?
Kinda bigoted don't you think?
As I already stated. They freely admit it's in the hundreds, and in the next breath say that they are skittish about releasing casualty counts. I mean if they freely admit it's in the hundreds why not just say 300 hundred are so far confirmed dead? I doubt they are skittish about a releasing number like 300, beause people are pretty much anticipating at least that. At anyrate I don't have any first hand knowledge, but reports that "officials are skittish" doesn't sound good.
Where did I say that?
That our actions had no impact on Him at all?
Our only impact on God is causing him grief as all children do to their parents.
If you believe that God causes disasters, I guess you missed the Sunday School lesson about Lucifer being cast down on earth. Don't blame my God for cataclysmic events He didn't cause. The ONLY thing He may do is remove His hand of protection........which He hasn't done yet.
