My point was, and my apoligies for not making it clear, you can't blame global warming for these types of things (otherwise they need to try to explain the Galveston hurricane over 100 years ago), and you can't blame anybody for the decisions made by people thirty years ago.

What you can do, is not make the same mistakes again, which unfortunately won't happen.
