I said the same thing this afternoon.
I was suprised there wasn't alot of looting in New York last year when the power grid conked out.

The first power outage N.Y.C. experienced back in the early 70's, everyone helped everyone, crime was non existent. Then the following year the grid went down and the animals came out of the woodwork and looted every store they passed. It was out of control to the point where the cops were told to stand down. The cops in N.O. are in the same predicament. They can't stop the looting so all they can do is look the other way( kinda like what they do all year round)
