S**t like this is going to make people lose all sympathy for New Orleans and say "let it sink". Save our sympathy for the "civilized" areas like Mississippi.

I'm sure there are decent folks in NO, but the squishy attitude towards looters, the way the city has been a democratic, PC stronghold, the whole Mardi Gras "if it feels good, do it" attitude....

My sympathy is very much centered in Mississippi. The people in NO are finding out that the democratic, liberal crap that is a luxury when times are good is an out and out disaster when times are tough.
