The ex-football player (and many other things) was Roosevelt (Rosey) Grier - not Greer.

I thought he played for the Rams, not the Browns.

Rosey Grier started out with the New York Giants on the defensive line with Katcavage, Modzelewski and Robustelli and then went to the Rams. Dumb move by my Giants.

As well as being a Christian minister he subdued Sirhan Sirhan when he murdered Bobby Kennedy.

Would there were more like him.
