Of course, the funny thing is that the water will ruin the electronics and estimates are that it could be several weeks before power is restored. So these kids lug a big TV home, set it in the middle of the living room for several weeks, get power, and it doesn’t work. LOL!!

Actually, solid state electronics, if they're not under power, can get wet and still be good; as long as they are dried out when power is reapplied. And it seems it will have time to dry before power is available.
