Has anyone calculated the cost of rebuilding a city of 1.4 million (which is essentially what we have w/metro area and towns like Metaire)? Think not only buildings...but water...sewer...roads...highways...all that?? I mean, insurance will cover a large portion of that, true.

You DON'T rebuild the city. You tell the people to go live in North Dakota or somewhere we they have relatives.
