Bush is no better than they are on this issue.
I think Buchanan had the best explanation when he said that Bush and the rest of the country club conservatives are deathly afraid of getting dirty looks from the staff at the club.
As a 62 year old conservative Republican, I find George Bush to be the worst Republican president in my lifetime. He is not fit even to shine Richard Nixon's shoes. My conclusion is that he is even dumber than the Democrats claim him to be.
After 5 years, he appears to have no energy policy, and we suffer the results every day at the gas pump and elsewhere. His Iraq war has been an expensive and deadly fiasco at a time when he should have been going full speed in Afghanistan to capture and/or kill Bin Laden. His total lack of interest in securing America's borders borders on criminal. I sure hope this country can survive 3 more years of this incompetent man.
