In marked contrast to her testy interview yesterday with NPR's Neal Conan, Cindy Sheehan was warm and friendly during an appearance this afternoon on Randi Rhodes' program on Air America Radio. The two reminisced about Rhodes' visit to Camp Casey and their budding friendship. "Did you tell your listeners we're best friends now and we're going to terrorize New York City?" Sheehan said to Rhodes.
Rhodes responded by telling a story from her visit to Camp Casey. "I will never forget that night sitting outside under the stars with you," Rhodes told Sheehan. "It was at one of those wrought-iron tables you see out in lawn-furniture land...Cindy Sheehan drinks Heineken...I was drinking Corona...It was just like five girls, and we were sitting around...All of a sudden, I got a beer, and I put it down, and it went right through the table..."
"My feet were covered with beer," Sheehan said.
Later, Sheehan summed up her time in Crawford. "I'm so sad to leave," she said. "I never even envisioned that. I really dread leaving, because it's been the most amazing transformative experience in my life, and it has really helped me heal with Casey's death...It really has been an amazing healing experience."
She must have been so very angry at her son for going into the service against her wishes, then for re-enlisting, and (most of all) for dying. I suspect all her venom against Bush and Company is really directed at Casey. That's why all this spewing has proven so healing for her.
Maybe Cindy has forgotten or doesn't acknowledge that her new best friends already did that a few years ago. I'm sure she attributes that to Israel or the Joooos.
great minds...
Remove the space after the < and between img and you get this.
"I will never forget that night sitting outside under the stars with you,"
As I ran my hands over your hairy legs and kissed your leathery face,
I was transported into into a world I had only dreamed of.
Your beady eyes spoke to me in a language only we could understand.
The fragrance of your beer soaked toes was almost unbearable.
But, when you placed your greasy hair next to my ear and whispered , " Death to America"
I knew I could not control my passion much longer.
Looks like her foot massager returned.
Some say a picture is worth a thousand words. I say this picture is worth a thousand bitch slaps for disrespecting the flag.
Gad, it looks look a party for aging lesbians
A poster girl for Restatious[sp?]?
Since I posted it, I have found out that the picture was photo shopped.
Cindy had her feet on one of her Camp B$tch Follower's knee. The knee was removed and the flag coffin replaced it.
Having cleared that up, Cindy would probably have no problem doing what the photoshopped pic showed.
I see she had an interview with Air America and there were no problems with her cellphone reception..maybe she could call NPR now and finish that interview..
It was the finest half-hour of National Public Radio. The interviewer - most certainly not a conservative - was asking straight-up newsworthy questions and she just couldn't take anything that wasn't adulatory.
LOL!
I'm surprised she didn't thank the terrorists who actually killed her Hero son to give her access to the natl. media.
bump
"Looks like her foot massager returned."
LOL! That's just what I was thinking!
One would hope our points of contention would rise above 'but they're ugly'.
The old "My cell phone is cutting out trick!"
