I taught at the college level some years ago and we had a similar pollution problem. We delt with it very successfully by implementing the

. Cost you 25 cents for each utterance.This worked so well that we were only able to finance one pizza party at the end of each semester. Where have we gone wrong???

I had a teacher who had a jar for infractions that included bad language, determined by him, and gum, food, rudeness. He kept the money, lol. I don't know. My mom used to say, 'The inmates running the asylum'. I think it's true.

I teach a class to gradeschool kids 1.5 hrs a week. I've developed stricter rules over the 8 years I've been doing it. I thought I heard the F word once last year (that's right, 7 & 8 yr olds). It only happened once. Some of the other volunteers have real disciplinary issues, even in the lower grades. And many of the parents are defiant.
